HANDLING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: AN ANALYSIS OF INDONESIA'S VACCINE DIPLOMACY IN THE ASIAN REGION IN 2020-2023

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has occurred worldwide, one of which is in Indonesia. In Indonesia itself, the entry of COVID-19 in March 2020 was a mass transmission at that time because many Indonesian tourists had just returned from China. Since then, the COVID-19 pandemic has continued to increase, causing P.S.B.B. in all regions of Indonesia. Seeing this phenomenon, the government plans to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 from continuing to occur in Indonesia, one of which is with a vaccine. The study aims to provide knowledge about handling the COVID-19 pandemic using the Indonesian vaccine. The method used is qualitative, with a narrative and descriptive-analytical approach. This study explains how the Indonesian government has handled the COVID-19 pandemic by creating its vaccine. This aims to reduce the cost of purchasing imported vaccines from abroad and improve the Indonesian government's economy. Many people have been helped with the Indonesian vaccine because they used it. The Indonesian vaccine itself is a work created by Indonesian children to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in Indonesia. With this, Covid-19 in Indonesia can be overcome.
